About me
I have been a Rotarian for almost 20 years. My first introduction to Rotary was in high school, through Rotary youth exchange students in my school. On a week long school trip abroad I became great friends with our Australian YE student. We remain fast friends today!! I joined Rotary in my hometown of Sharon Springs in 2004 and my first Rotary assignment was as a Rotary EarlyAct Advisor. In 2023 I moved and transferred to Albany Rotary where I currently serve as Vice President.
I love the international family of Rotary, and have visited clubs around the world and have friends around the world! The shared interest in service brings together people of vast diversity, and I truly believe that Rotarians can change the world. Rotary exemplifies that we are one in humanity.
I have served in a variety of roles at club, district and zone level, each an opportunity to learn and serve in different ways. I currently serve on Zone 28-32 DEI Committee, as CNY District DEI Chair and as a RLI Facilitator.
